Safari snorkels have been the go to brand for many 4WD enthusiasts seeking to install a snorkel, while TJM's Airtec and Ironman snorkels have been increasing in popularity. From years of experience installing and selling snorkels it's obvious the Sherpa 4x4 is comparable in design, plastic quality and performance. The majority of Sherpa 4x4 snorkels come with templates which have proven to be extremely accurate making installation a breeze. Sherpa 4x4 also offers features not seen elsewhere in the 4x4 snorkel market. Brushed stainless steel snorkel intake grills offer a personalised touch to any vehicle. While the range of powdercoated snorkel grills provide the flare many offroaders are seeking on their customised rigs. With all the popular snorkel models covered from Toyota, Nissan, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Ford and Land Rover, Sherpa 4x4 snorkels also come in a variety of more niche models including Suzuki, Hummer, Hyundai to name a few. Buying a snorkel can be a daunting task. There are so many options and so many differing advantages to the various brands available. So what do you really need to think about when you are buying a snorkel.
1) Quality of the snorkel
While snorkels may all look black and plastic they are not all the same. The additives and how the Linear Low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) is mixed is important to the final quality of the snorkel.
2) How dirty do you get?
What you are going to do with your snorkel can determine which head you should use and therefore purchase. There are a number of types of heads to consider, all with there own benefits.
Air Ram - This is the most common head and is usually the best option for most people.
Pre-Cleaner - This head offers an extra layer of protection for particularly dusty travel.
You can check out the full snorkel article on our website and it has plenty of useful information on what to look for and think about when buying and installing a snorkel.
Sturdy and a perfect size for towing behind our ride on mower
Good thing
Looking forward to using the fogger asap
Seems to work ok will it pass the test of time overall happy with the purchase from Scintex would recommend.
Awesome equipment makes light work of heavy grass and mulches really
Once grass under control provides a great finish as well
The fogger is working but I am on 4.5 acres most of the sandflies and mosquitos are gone.

This machine is the ducks nuts! I have a rural block with steep slopes around the house, and have been using a Sherpa 4WD slope mower (at twice the price of this machine), which is hard on the machine and my body, as I go up and down the slope (not across, as this makes it tip over, launching driver - me- down said slope at great speed). And when it is wet, you get lots of wheel spin and mess.
This machine handles the slope easily- up, down or across. Not having to ride a machine is great - just stand by and direct it with the remote! The tracks are much better than wheels for traction in wet and slippery conditions.
Only complaint so far is the manual didn’t match the remote control model, so working out how to manage it was an issue. The remote has lots of switches that don’t seem to do anything, but once you have it sussed it is ok (I still haven’t figured out how to change the speed tho!).
For me, this machine is a much safer and quicker way to manage the mowing/slashing job,
I needed a pump to transfer diesel from jerry's to tank in 4x4. Works very well! Very solid unit.
I've struggled to find something that will clean the pavers on the front patio (which get coated with dust/dirt) efficiently and also have a large timber deck that I like to keep clean. This unit did an amazing job on the pavers - better than I could have hoped - and a very good job on the deck (it was a lot cleaner to start!). I didn't use any detergent, so may well be able to do even better next time. Highly recommended.
Just screed two pads to work with manually and then put the power screed on. 20x faster than a manual screed and much better on your back! The wider the blade on it the better ! Leaves a great finish that you can just watch and wait to put the troweling machine on. The vibrating action brings out most of the bubbles so bull floating is pretty much a waste of time.
So quick that the engine hardly warms up until the slab is over 150m2.
I ordered wrong submersible need more volume
