PTO Flail Mower Spares

Use the mower model, cutting width, rotor type and any serial or revision information. Compare flail style, mounting bolt diameter, spacer arrangement, belt specification, bearing number and skid design with the original component or parts diagram. Different flail profiles and weights should not be mixed on the same rotor.
Flails or hammer blades, mounting bolts, belts, bearings, skids, roller components and PTO driveline parts are common service items. Wear increases in rocky ground, heavy scrub and abrasive soil. Inspect the mower after any severe impact, unusual vibration, reduced cut quality or evidence that material has wrapped around the rotor.
The rotor operates at high speed, so unequal flail weight or missing flails can create severe vibration, overload bearings and damage the mower frame. Replace opposite or complete matched sets as recommended, use identical hardware and verify free movement. Never substitute a different flail shape or weight without manufacturer approval.
Belts should be replaced if cracked, glazed, frayed, stretched beyond adjustment or contaminated with oil. Bearing warning signs include heat, noise, looseness, rough rotation or grease leakage. Stop the machine promptly if vibration or temperature rises, as continued operation can damage the rotor shaft, pulleys and bearing housings.
Inspect flails, bolts, belts, bearings, skids, guards and the PTO shaft before each use. Maintain correct belt tension, grease all service points and clean wrapped grass or wire only after complete isolation. Operate at the specified PTO speed, travel at a suitable ground speed and avoid striking rocks, stumps and hidden debris.

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
