PTO Slasher W/ Catcher Spares

Use the exact slasher model, cutting width, catcher configuration and any serial or revision details. Compare the original part with the exploded-parts diagram, checking blade dimensions, belt length, pulley size, bearing number, mounting holes and catcher frame components. Similar slashers can use different driveline and collection-system parts.
Blades, blade bolts, belts, bearings, skids, rollers, PTO shaft components, catcher mesh or panels, hinges, latches and discharge components are common service items. Wear increases with abrasive conditions, impacts, overloading and poor belt tension. Inspect the machine after any severe vibration, blockage or collision with hidden debris.
The blade carrier rotates at high speed, so uneven blade weight or length can create dangerous imbalance, vibration and bearing load. Replace blades and associated bolts in matched sets where specified, and use only the correct profile, thickness and mounting hardware. Bent, cracked or heavily worn blades should never be reused.
Check for blocked discharge passages, damaged or incorrectly fitted blades, low PTO speed, excessive travel speed, wet or heavy material and clogged catcher mesh or vents. Worn belts or poor deck airflow can also reduce collection performance. Isolate the tractor and wait for all movement to stop before clearing any blockage.
Operate at the specified PTO speed, avoid overloading the catcher and reduce ground speed in heavy growth. Clean accumulated grass after use, maintain belt tension, grease bearings and driveline points and keep blades sharp and balanced. Repair cracked catcher mounts, damaged mesh and loose fasteners before they worsen.

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
