Scintex supplies only the best recovery gear from Sherpa 4x4. With a range of important recovery equipment from Shackles to Tree Trunk Protectors we can supply everything you will need to get you out of those sticky situations.

A basic recovery kit typically includes rated recovery points, a recovery strap or kinetic rope, rated shackles, gloves and a dampener where appropriate. Additional equipment depends on terrain and vehicle weight.
Recovery straps are designed to stretch and store kinetic energy for vehicle recovery, whereas tow straps are intended for steady towing and should not be used for snatch recoveries.
Every component should be appropriately rated for the expected loads. The system is only as strong as its weakest component, so mixing unrated equipment increases risk.
Clean equipment after use, allow it to dry and store it away from sunlight, chemicals and sharp edges. Inspect it before every recovery and replace damaged items.
No. Vehicle recovery equipment is designed for pulling loads, not lifting suspended loads. Always use equipment intended for its specific application.

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
