Seed & Fertiliser Spreaders

The Paddock Machinery range of Seed & Fertiliser Spreaders. The range includes our spike seeder, spreader and aerator all in one, our walk behind fertiliser & seed spreaders & our 12V fertiliser & seed spreader.

Our newest product is the heavy duty tow behind seed & fertiliser spreader that attaches to quad bikes, four wheelers, ATV's and more. Ideal for seed and fertiliser spreading applications where a PTO tractor spreader is not available.

Used to distribute seeds, fertilisers, lime, gypsum, sand, salt and other granular products across fields, lawns, acreages, golf courses and paddocks. Available in walk behind or push styles for manual applications or tow behind for you ride on mower, ATV, quad bike or other vehicle. 

Different fertilisers vary in density, granule size and moisture content, so the same gate opening rarely delivers the same application rate. Recalibrating whenever the product changes improves crop performance and reduces costly over-application.
Many spreaders can handle both products, but spreading settings usually need adjustment. Fine seed often requires lower application rates and different vane settings than granular fertiliser.
Light fertiliser granules are easily deflected by crosswinds, creating striping and uneven nutrient distribution. Spreading during calm conditions generally produces the best results.
Not always. Consistent application accuracy is usually more valuable than maximum spread width because it directly influences crop establishment and fertiliser efficiency.
Wash the entire machine thoroughly after use, paying particular attention to the hopper, spinner discs and frame, then lubricate moving components before storage.

Highly recommended .We have a few of these as we are a oil manufacturer . These pumps are very good and reliable. I have had nuts , bolts and rocks go through them and they keep on working as the viens and gears are all steel . No plastic that can shatter .Only had to replace a mechanical seal on them once which I was able to get from Scintex . Takes about 7 minutes to transfer 200 liters of gear oil through a 25 mm hose .
