These motors are a massive 8.9hp and out perform anything we've ever seen before. These 12V motors replace the Warn 4.6hp and 6hp models and are especially ideal for the Warn 8274 High mount with single or dual motors.

This motor will spin at 6000rpm and also develop a massive amount of torque at low rpm. They are rated for 10Nm of load. Our testing shows with 8Nm of load it will operate for 120 seconds pulling 310A making it incredibly durable and considering most winch recoveries involve winching for under 60 seconds, it is almost impossible to overheat and burn these motors out. Like all winch motors, we don't recommend stalling these motors so ensure your winch gearing, loads and operation don't allow for this.

These motors feature high quality heavy duty copper armature windings. Roller bearings ensure the armature spins true. Each armature is computer balanced and machined to run smooth. 4 large brushes are housed in a massive frame which enables the motor to run cooler for longer.

These drives are physically large, 115mm diameter and ~180mm long (230mm including the output shaft). The output shaft is a 20 spline to match the common Warn style. Note this does not suit older key way Warn models.

Power is key for these motors and we recommend a quality battery and strong alternator for optimum performance. Dual or triple batteries will really see this motor perform.
