Description
The Paddock range of borehole water pumps are suitable for installation in narrow wells and deliver high discharge pressures and stable flow rates. These are a high end pump at a fraction of the price of some other brands. Built from quality components, these pumps are designed to last. Perfect for stock feed water, drinking water to the house and even direct connection to irrigation. The multistage impeller design delivers performance and efficiency in a well built reliable package.

Submersible Water Pump
The Paddock range of submersible water pumps come in a range of sizes delivering a full spectrum of pressure and flow options. These are multi-stage pumps meaning they utilise a stacked impeller design to generate great water pressure. Adding impellers at the build stage increases the pumps discharge pressure. Multi-stage water pumps deliver smooth and steady flows and are suited to clean waters. These pumps will handle some sand and fines content in the water due to the engineered impeller design however the best performance and longest operating life is achieved with clean water.
These pumps are designed for installation down common water bores and will generate enough pressure to not only bring water to the surface, but also to end users far away though the piping network in many cases.
Paddock pumps are popular for retrofitting to existing water bores and wells. The 3" models will fit a bore with a internal diameter of only 75mm.
The submersible pump design utilises the submersion in water to keep the motor cool and operating efficiently. These pumps are not suitable for out of water continuous operation. These pumps can be used in conjunction with level switches or smart well controllers to protect the pump from running dry.
Pump Construction
Paddock equipment is known for it's high quality at a affordable price and these pumps are no exception. All models feature a range of upgrades including high grade stainless steel construction, upgraded mechanical seals to extend the service life, longer length and higher gauge electrical cables to ensure optimal performance.
Each pump comes with a upgraded pump control box that allows for incorporation of downhole level switches if ever desired. Alternatively, upgrade to the Smart Pump Controller that can detect loss of water flow and shut the pump down to protect it.
All pumps are factory tested prior to supply. Included is special pressurised leak testing which eliminates the possibility of a small leak being missed in factory. The exceptional quality assurance processes used as part of these pumps manufacturing help set the Paddock range apart from the imitations.
Serviceability
These pumps feature a modular design which aids in their serviceability. The motor can be quickly divorced from the pump wet end which reduces the complexity over fully integrated designs.
Scintex stock a full range of spare parts for these pumps in Australia making them suitable for critical operations that can't afford lengthy downtimes.
High Discharge Pressure and Flow Rates
The pumps come in a range of sizes and designs for all user requirements.
To convert max. head into pressure, users should multiply by gravity (9.8) and water density (1000kg/m3) to get the pressure in Pa, divide by 1000 for kPa. For example, for a maximum head of 70m, users should expect ~686 kPa discharge pressure or 99 psi. Remember to allow for changes in elevation as well as friction losses along your pipe-work when sizing your pump.
