TurboWerx Exa-Pump Mini TWX-200M – 12V / 24V Oil Scavenge Pump
Description
The TurboWerx Exa-Pump® Mini TWX-200M is a compact, continuous-duty electric oil scavenge pump designed for high-temperature automotive and motorsport applications. Available in 12V and 24V versions, it delivers up to approximately 2 GPM depending on oil temperature and viscosity, while handling fluid temperatures up to 175°C / 350°F.
Its compact form factor, externally replaceable motor brushes, adjustable pump-head orientation and AN8 fittings make it well suited to turbocharger oil scavenging, motorcycles, race vehicles and other installations where space and weight are limited.
TurboWerx Exa-Pump® Mini TWX-200M
The Exa-Pump® Mini is designed for demanding hot-oil transfer and turbocharger oil scavenging applications where compact size and continuous-duty operation are important.
It uses the same general high-temperature pump technology as the larger Exa-Pump range, but in a smaller package better suited to motorcycles, performance vehicles and other tight installations.

High-Temperature Oil Scavenging
The Exa-Pump Mini is rated for fluid temperatures up to 175°C / 350°F, making it suitable for hot-oil transfer applications where conventional electric pumps may not be appropriate.
Typical applications include:
- Turbocharger oil scavenging
- Motorcycles and drag bikes
- Performance and race vehicles
- Twin-turbo systems
- Personal watercraft
- Compact motorsport installations
- Other compatible hot-oil transfer systems
Compact Design for Tight Installations
The Mini is designed for space- and weight-sensitive applications. Its smaller motor and pump package makes it easier to install where the larger Exa-Pump may be physically too large.
The motor and pump-head assembly can be rotated within the heatsink to help optimise inlet and outlet port orientation during installation.
Adjustable Pump Head Orientation
The pump head can be repositioned by loosening the two M4 set screws, rotating the motor / pump-head assembly to the desired orientation, and then securely retightening the set screws.
This allows the inlet and outlet ports to be positioned to better suit available space and hose routing.
12V & 24V Versions
Two electrical versions are available:
- TWX-200M-12V
- TWX-200M-24V
The 24V version is the preferred choice where the electrical system operates above conventional 12V nominal levels, including some race-car electrical systems.
Operating Current & Circuit Protection
The supplied current information is:
- 12V version: typically under 5A, 15A maximum
- 24V version: typically under 2.5A, 7.5A maximum
The pump must be protected by an appropriately rated fuse or circuit breaker:
- 12V pump: 15A
- 24V pump: 7.5A
Cold oil has a higher viscosity and can increase current draw until the fluid warms.
Voltage Operating Limits
The supplied information states that the applied voltage may exceed the pump's nominal rated voltage by up to 25%.
Exceeding this limit may void warranty coverage, so the system voltage should be checked carefully before installation.
Scavenge & Pressure Pump Capability
As a scavenge pump, the Exa-Pump Mini delivers approximately 2 GPM depending on oil viscosity and temperature.
As a pressure pump, the supplied information states 30+ PSI continuous capability. Operation in the 30–50 PSI range may be possible, but the manufacturer does not guarantee or warrant operation across that full range.
Construction
The pump uses hardened bronze gear rotors, a nickel-plated pump head, high-temperature motor components and an anodised aluminium heatsink.
These materials are selected for use in high-temperature oil applications and demanding automotive environments.
Port Connections
The pump head uses 3/8" NPT female ports.
Two nickel-plated 3/8" NPT to AN8 adaptors are included for common motorsport plumbing setups.

Optional Exa-Pure 100 Micron Filter
Scintex recommends using the Exa-Pump Mini with a compatible TurboWerx Exa-Pure in-line oil filter to help protect the pump gears from metallic debris and other contamination.
The Exa-Pure filter is rated to 100 micron and uses 3/8" female inlet and outlet ports. Two AN8 adaptors are included with the nickel-plated filter supplied by Scintex.
Approximate filter dimensions are 90mm × 30mm, excluding fittings.

TurboWerx Part Number: TWX-EP38NPT-100-N
Scintex Code: STWX-EP-100u
Installation Considerations
Install the pump so that oil lines are routed cleanly and securely, with appropriate hose and fittings suitable for the temperature and pressure of the application.
Use appropriate circuit protection and electrical wiring for the selected 12V or 24V model.
Where contamination is possible, use suitable upstream filtration to prevent foreign material from entering and locking the pump gears.
Do not exceed the stated fluid temperature or voltage limits, as doing so may damage the pump and affect warranty coverage.
