Deep Well Water Level Sensor
Description
A range of sensors suitable for measuring the hydrostatic pressure of liquid down a deep water well or bore hole. Once you know the pressure, it can be convert to a water level using a pressure transmitter or controlller.
Well Water Level Sensor
This sensor can help you to understand how much water is in your well or bore. The sensor is installed down the well at depth below the water level. The sensor measures the water pressure which can be used to determine the level of water above the sensor. The sensor is highly accurate, robust and reliable even in difficult, harsh conditions as there are no moving parts to foul.
When connected to a water level transmitter, users can quickly see the amount of water level in their well. The Scintex level transmitters also incorporate controller functionality, meaning users can trigger alarms or external relays to turn pumps on or off at different levels. Having a level controller incorpored into your pumping design can prevent pumps from running dry and save costly repairs.
The level sensor is extremely robust and designed for installation at great depths below the ground. They are designed for the harshest of service conditions and will provide many years of trouble free service. The transmitter consist of a piezoresistive sensing element, encased in a 316 SS housing. With no moving parts to foul the sensor is very reliable.
Ideal for ground water monitoring, control of sewage station levels, water tanks, wells and bores. These are a high quality instrument designed to fit in tight places.
